Scripture reference: Psalm 112;1-3 (KJV)
“Praise ye the LORD. Blessed is the man that feareth the LORD, that delighteth greatly in his commandments. His seed shall be mighty upon earth: the generation of the upright shall be blessed. Wealth and riches shall be in his house: and his righteousness endureth for ever”
The quest for success and significance is arguably a major incentive for most men. The pursuit of these have landed many into trouble or turn some of them into malcontent hustlers…yes, even among the believers.
The quoted verse assures you that wealth (continuous flow of resources) and riches (financial comfort) is awaiting you as long as you will maintain (1) the fear of the Lord and (2) take joy in the word of God. These two promoters of blessing and glory is far less demanding than the alternatives of a mindless pursuit of wealth and following the footsteps of the world, which will likely cascade into pain.
May the Lord give you the renewed grace to “Praise ye the Lord” always.
CONFESSION: I am a child of God and redeemed by the blood of Jesus. I will praise the Lord at all times, fear the Lord and receive the grace to reverence Him at all times. I confess that I love the word of God, it makes manning to me and daily putting life into my life.
