Scripture reference: Habakkuk 3; 17-18 (KJV)
“Although the fig tree shall not blossom, neither shall fruit be in the vines; the labour of the olive shall fail, and the fields shall yield no meat; the flock shall be cut off from the fold, and there shall be no herd in the stalls: Yet I will rejoice in the LORD, I will joy in the God of my salvation.”
When things go awry, when blunders are made and when battles are fought in life (particularly in the real of the emotions), when it seems that life has passed one by, when it’s so natural and probably understandable to the ignorant that the afflicted should be sad, forlorn, depressed and act out the vintage offshoot of such…like anger, rudeness, hopelessness, wantonness and a life that expects nothing good etc. Take the counsel of God in our scriptural reference and burst into joy and thanksgiving. Go to church early and be a part of the praise and worship, slot in music that lifts God up and lifts your soul; your solution will manifest quicker than you think, beginning from your transformed attitude of sorrow into joy.
CONFESSION: I am a child of God, nothing will take my joy from me and nothing will fill me with hopelessness. My God hasn’t changed his mind about my destiny. I will go forward and will rise higher and higher and will testify of the goodness of God for keeping me alive unto I see good works and manifestation of His glory.
